This video is designed to help you complete the T Level Data Collection digital form.
Over-estimating your planned 2026 new starts may result in adjustments being made at year end reconciliation.
Why is the T Level Data Collection so important?
It informs your 2026 to 2027 academic year 16-19 revenue funding allocation.
It also informs the course directory, Gov.uk T Level provider list, and ministerial reporting.
Let’s get started! To log in, please select ‘Start’ at the bottom of the page.

Enter your password and select ‘Sign in’.
Click on ‘Email code to Your email address ‘.
Enter the code sent to your email address and select ‘Verify’.
Select the organisation you are submitting a T Level data return for. To change your selection, sign out, close all your browsers and login again.
You will now see a screen confirming your log in details. If these details are not correct, please contact the address provided. If the details are correct, select ’Continue’.
Now you can tell us about your T Level delivery, and planned new starts by completing Section 1.
Firstly, select ‘T Level delivery from 2026 to 2027 academic year’.
On this screen, you must complete all sections, even if you are not delivering a T Level from that route.
These options align with your organisation’s May T Level return.
Let’s start by completing the ‘Agriculture, Environmental and Animal Care’ route. Here you can Add a T Level or Remove a T Level.
The routes available align with confirmed delivery in the May 2025 T Level Data Collection.
Once you have confirmed the T Levels you plan to deliver, select ‘Save and continue’.
Here you will enter your planned new starts for each occupational specialism.
Select ‘Download Guidance PDF’ for the full step by step guide. The PDF guidance explains how to navigate error messages encountered whilst completing the form.
Enter your planned new starts for each occupational specialism. Enter ‘0’ for those you will not be delivering.
Once complete, select the next academic year tab.
From 2027 to 2028 academic year, we are asking for your planned new starts for each T Level, rather than each occupational specialism.
Enter your planned new starts for each T Level you plan to deliver for the 2027 to 2028, 2028 to 2029 and 2029 to 2030 academic years.
Once you have confirmed your planned new starts for all academic years, select ‘Save and continue’.
Now you can review your planned new starts, to confirm or make amendments. Once confirmed, the route is marked as ‘complete’.
You must select and complete every route on this list to tell us your plans and progress to the next part of this form.
Select ‘Mark as ready’ once all routes are completed.
You can now complete Section 2: Select ‘T Level delivery from 2027 to 2028 academic year’.
In this section, you can add T Levels you plan to introduce for the first time from the 2027 to 2028 academic year.
Once you have confirmed the T Levels you plan to introduce from the 2027 to 2028 academic year, select ‘Save and continue’.
If you are not planning to introduce new T Levels from 2027 to 2028 academic year, simply select ‘Save and Continue’ without adding any T Levels.
You can now add your planned new starts for any extra T Levels selected. Do this for each academic year. Select ‘Save and continue’.
Now you can review your planned new starts, to confirm these or make amendments.
Now you can complete Section 3: Select ‘T Level Foundation Year from 2026 to 2027 academic year’.
If you plan to deliver the T Level Foundation Year, select ‘Yes’ and ‘Save and continue’. If not, select ‘No’ and ‘Save and continue’.
If you selected ‘Yes’, the T Level Foundation Year routes available for delivery are listed. These will align with the T Levels you have chosen for delivery in the 2026 to 2027 academic year.
You can now select the routes you plan to deliver, and press ‘Save and continue’.
Enter your planned new starts and select ‘Save and continue’. Now you can review your planned new starts and confirm or amend these.
You have now successfully completed all 3 Sections! Now select ‘Review and submit’.
Here, you can review your delivery and planned new starts.
Important: These figures will be used to inform your 2026 to 2027 academic year 16-19 revenue allocation. You can also review your T Level Foundation Year planned new starts.
Once you are confident your return is accurate and has been signed off, confirm the declarations and ‘Submit’. You have now submitted your return! You must download and save a copy of your return for your records.
You can contact us if you have any issues with your submission, before the deadline - 17 October.
Late submissions cannot be accepted! If you need to make changes to your submission, submit a new return for the same organisation before 17 October 2025.
We will only process your most recent return, other returns will be discounted.
You can submit a maximum of 10 returns.
If you have any further queries, feedback on the guidance you have received, or are still having issues with the digital form, then please contact TLDC.ENQUIRIES@education.gov.uk for support.
