Updated Industry Placements delivery guidance – now live

In December 2024, the department announced an updated set of industry placement delivery approaches. The updated guidance is now live, and the full set of delivery approaches can be implemented from this date onwards. You can access the full guidance here which provides comprehensive end-to-end guidance on delivering industry placements.

Update on provider requests to deliver T Level Foundation Year ahead of T Levels

In response to your feedback we have decided to allow delivery of TL Foundation Year ahead of T Levels, providing that you offer a relevant T Level in the same route in the following academic year. Where applicable, you should inform your AoC adviser of your plans to deliver T Level Foundation Year early and for which routes. IfATE and Awarding Organisation Updates

Pig skills added to the T Level in Agriculture, Land Management and Production
Pig skills has been added to the T Level in Agriculture, Land Management and Production, Livestock production occupational specialism and was approved by IfATE in November. This T Level is in delivery and available to providers. The T Level technical qualification and supporting documents are available here. Further information will be added regarding the Guide Standard Exemplification Materials (GSEM’s) over the upcoming months.

Pearson’s January E-Bulletin was published and included the following:

Eduqas/EAL:
Subscribe for Eduqas and EAL's latest updates for T Level in Building Services Engineering for Construction. 

To support providers in the delivery of Eduqas and EAL’s new T Level in Building Services Engineering for Construction for first teaching in 2025, a timeline of activities has been produced. This will be regularly updated and is available here.
