National Learning Event for Industry Placements
The AoC Industry Placement team are hosting a National Learning Event on Wednesday 9th November 2022, 9 am - 4 pm.
The T Level Industry Placement National Learning Event is a free event, taking place at the Midland Hotel Manchester, and is open to all Wave 1, 2 and 3 providers delivering T Levels.
The event will allow you to share best practice and network with all T Level providers who are at different stages of the journey, as well as attend bespoke, wave-specific breakout sessions. This is a rare national networking opportunity for all those delivering T Levels and an opportunity to hear from and engage with employers, DfE, policy experts and T Level Project Leads.
This event is aimed at those responsible for delivering T Level Industry Placements. You also have the option of adding a second delegate if you wish.
Please click on the link below to see the full agenda and to register for the event.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact AoC at Industryplacementsupport@aoc.co.uk
Industry placements in the Civil Service
The Civil Service is an exciting place for young people to build their careers and this could start with a T Level industry placement. An industry placement in the Civil Service provides students with a valuable opportunity to experience a Government Department or Arm’s Length Body and further explore a Civil Service career.
The Civil Service is increasing the number of placements available for AY 22/23 (and beyond) across Digital, Finance, Accounting and Management and Administration T Levels in a variety of locations. Available placements are dependent on the type of work being carried out at any given time, the location of the team and availability of dedicated mentors/placement managers.
If interested, please contact the central team in Cabinet Office who are leading on coordinating placements to see what opportunities may be available: csindustryplacement@cabinetoffice.gov.uk.
