Progression from T Levels
We expect that some T Level graduates will progress from their course to a relevant apprenticeship at level 4 or higher, building on the knowledge, skills and behaviours they have developed during their T Level course. Employers are already considering how T Levels can be an access point for higher apprenticeships.
The Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education (IfATE) has published progression profiles for the first wave of T Levels, which show how T Levels provide a strong foundation, which can lead to a range of opportunities in employment, apprenticeships, higher and further education.
IfATE have also published occupational maps showing the wide range of roles available to those progressing from T Levels.
We know that progression into Higher Education (HE) is a key option for many T Level students. If your students are interested to progress on to HE following on from their T Level you can find resources and materials that you can signpost to them and local HE providers here
