DfE/AoC T Level and T Level Transition Programme Conference 2022

This best practice sharing event is for Colleges, Schools and training providers only who are delivering, or plan to deliver, T Levels and the T Level Transition Programme. It is an excellent opportunity for those responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of T Levels and the T Level Transition Programme (TLTP) to learn from current T Level providers and discuss and share solutions to the common challenges they are facing. The conference takes place over two mornings and will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Industry placements – employer engagement, safeguarding and risk management
  • Marketing, CEIAG and progression into HE
  • Curriculum planning, timetabling and assessment
  • English and Maths in the TLTP
  • Initial and diagnostic assessment
  • The new TLTP Framework for Delivery – are you ready for September 2022?

There are two free places for each T Level and TLTP provider. To register for the events, go to the AoC website at AoC/DfE T Level and T Level Transition… | Association of Colleges . If you have any queries about these events, email AoC at events@aoc.co.uk.

A Level and T Level Results Day

As you’ll all be aware T Level Results Day is 18th August this year, the same day as Results Day for A Levels- going forward this will now be referred to externally as ‘A Level and T Level Results Day’.

The results and certification team presented a webinar on 25th May that detailed the process for receiving results as a provider, and gave some examples of what this will look like on Manage T Level Results- please do listen to this session if you were not available, the recording is available here: T Levels Results & Certification Webinar- DfE- 25 May 2022 - YouTube

The key points to note are:

  • It is important to add in students’ industry placement completion by 31st July (and maths and English attainment if a student obtained this outside of England or Wales)
  • The service will issue embargoed results to providers on 17th August through a CSV file
  • For entry to HE, this information will be provided to UCAS directly through Manage T Level results in good time before results day.

For students accessing higher education, we have worked closely with UCAS to ensure that there is a seamless delivery of T Level results to higher education providers before results day, and this will operate in much the same way as existing qualifications. If you require further information on UCAS processes, please check the UCAS website. If, following results day, students are considering their options through clearing, UCAS have some clear advice on their website: Looking for a course in Clearing? Learn how Clearing works & find a new place (ucas.com).

If you have if you have any queries specifically related to the Manage T Level results service please contact tlevel.resultsandcertification@education.gov.uk or if you have any further results day questions, please contact routesreadiness.te@education.gov.uk.
