T Levels Week: Thriving Thursday
It’s T Levels Week, and today is Thriving Thursday, a chance to hear directly from former T Level students who are now thriving in higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
Their stories highlight the different pathways available after a T Level and demonstrate how technical education can help students build the knowledge, skills and confidence to progress towards their career ambitions.
The Gatsby Foundation's Technical Education Networks website has a collection of T Level destination case studies, where students share their experiences and explain how their T Level helped them take their next step. Here’s a couple of examples:
Maisie's story: From a T Level in Health to university
Maisie completed a T Level in Health and has progressed to studying Diagnostic Radiography at Bangor University. In her case study, she reflects on how her T Level helped prepare her for higher education and a future career in healthcare.
Ureeb's story: From a T Level in Digital to an apprenticeship
Ureeb studied Digital Support Services and is now a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprentice at Lloyds Banking Group. His story demonstrates how a T Level can provide a direct route into a high-quality apprenticeship with a leading employer.
