Recruit the workforce you need to deliver T Levels

Finding teachers with the right technical skills and industry experience is important for successful T Level delivery.

From 10 November 2026, further education (FE) colleges will be able to advertise teaching and support staff vacancies free of charge on the Department for Education’s national recruitment platform, Teaching Vacancies Service. This will give colleges another way to reach potential candidates.

Teaching Vacancies attracts around one million users each month. Expanding the service to FE will make it easier for jobseekers to discover opportunities in colleges and set up alerts for roles that interest them.

This can support colleges recruiting for T Level delivery, as well as their wider teaching and support workforce.

The service has been developed and tested with FE colleges, whose feedback has helped shape it around the sector’s recruitment needs.

Join the launch webinar to get started

We are holding a launch webinar on Tuesday 10 November 2026 for colleagues working in recruitment, HR, communications and vacancy advertising.

The webinar will introduce Teaching Vacancies, demonstrate how it can support recruitment and explain how to start advertising roles.

Please share this information with relevant teams in your organisation. To nominate colleagues to attend the webinar, email their names and email addresses to FErecruitment.ENQUIRIES@education.gov.uk by 6 November 2026.
