Webinar recording: Updated DfE industry placement guidance for providers

Following the publication of the revised DfE industry placement guidance, this webinar talked about supporting providers to design placements that are both compliant and effective in practice.
The core requirements remain. Industry placements must still be overseen by an external employer or employers, support wider qualification outcomes, and last a minimum of 315 hours, except for the Early Years Educator occupational specialism.
What has changed is the scope providers have to design placements and innovatively within that framework. The updated guidance provides clear advice on approaches such as multiple employers, remote hours, small team projects, skills hubs, and flexible timing or working patterns.
This session is for anyone involved in T Level planning, delivery or quality, including curriculum teams, T Level leads, industry placement teams, employer engagement staff, quality leads and senior managers.
