T Levels: Industry Workshop - Industry Insights Workshop - Finance and Business - Understanding Modern Businesses: How Organisations have Shifted from Pure Profit to Purpose‑Driven Goals

We look forward to welcoming T Level educators to this business and finance workshop led by Mateo Jarrin Cuvi, Global Manager for Partners and Media at the Association of Governance, Risk & Compliance (AGRC), where we will be exploring the role of corporate governance in modern businesses and how organisations can go beyond measuring their economic impact by looking at it through an ESG (Environmental Social Governance) lens too.

During his 25-year career, Mateo has played important roles in a wide array of industries, eventually landing in the financial services sector where he has focused on content creation and management and business writing geared towards the financial services industry. Mateo holds BAs in Foreign Affairs and Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia (UVA) and an MA in Latin American Studies from the University of California in San Diego (UCSD). Plus, he’s a journalist and writer who has published fiction, food and wine articles, financial content, and other travel-related pieces in several local and global publications. In his current role, Mateo leads the charge for the AGRC in establishing strategic partnerships, promoting the association’s work, and liaising with members and partner organisations.

During this session Mateo will be discussing:
