We are excited for Engineering and Science T Level educators to join us at Culham Campus for a full day site visit and tour of the headquarters of the UK Atomic Energy Authorities (UKAEA) fusion energy programme.

This day will include:

introduction to Fusion and UKAEA
tour of Joint European Torus (JET) – this was the world’s biggest and most powerful fusion machine for 40 years currently being decommissioned
tour of the Materials Research Facility
tour of Remote Applications in Challenging Environments, the robotics facility
meet UKAEA’S apprentices and early careers team. Understand current and emerging roles and the skills needed
time for Q&A and closing comments.

Lunch will be provided for you by UKAEA, you will be asked for your dietary requirements closer to the time.
