Join us on this Craft and Design T Level Industry Insight event to discover how Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) and its partners are shaping the future of British craftsmanship and supporting young people to develop their skills and passions.

Katherine Dunleavy leads Programmes and Partnerships at QEST, the UK’s premier craft charity dedicated to supporting excellence in British craftsmanship. With a mission to sustain vital craft skills, QEST provides funding for the training and education of talented makers and conservators across a wide range of disciplines.

At this T Level Industry Insights event, Katherine will introduce QEST’s innovative “Making the Future” campaign, delivered in partnership with the Inspiring the Future platform. This initiative connects students and teachers with leading professionals in craft and conservation, offering unique opportunities to hear first-hand about diverse and rewarding careers in these sectors.

The session will explore the many routes into craft and conservation, highlighting both traditional apprenticeships and modern pathways. Katherine will share a wealth of resources and activities available to schools and colleges, designed to inspire the next generation of makers. Attendees will also learn about the extensive funding and support QEST offers to individuals, from scholarships and apprenticeships to professional development grants.

A Q&A will follow the session.
