T Level Recruitment Process Survey – 2025 to 2026 Academic Year

The June 2025 T Level Recruitment Progress survey will open on the 2 June and will be sent to all T Level providers planning to offer T Levels in the 2025 to 2026 academic year.

The short survey will ask about the total number of students that have accepted an offer of learning for T Level study in September 2025 and any recruitment challenges you have faced. We will also ask about the number of industry placements you have available for this cohort.

The survey which can be accessed here and closes on 6 June we will use this information to report to ministers on recruitment progress.

Promoting your T Level Foundation Year programme – flyer and leaflet

To help raise awareness of your T Level Foundation Year with students and their families we have an Information Leaflet and Flyer designed specifically for providers to use alongside local promotion materials.  They provide a clear introduction to T Level Foundation Year and highlight the benefits and opportunities the programme offers.

Further resources about to help you market and promote the T Level Foundation Year programme and spark interest in those who will benefit most can be found here

T Level Destinations – Gatsby data collection

The Gatsby Charitable Foundation and RCU are currently in the process of collecting data relating to the destinations of the 2023/24 T Level cohort. Wave One, Two and Three providers were contacted earlier this year to request information about the destinations of students who completed their qualification in summer 2024. The deadline for data collection has been extended, and Gatsby are inviting any providers who have not yet submitted data, but would like to contribute, to do so by Thursday 12th June.

Any data submissions are greatly appreciated and will support the publication of a report into the destinations of the third cohort of T Level students. Reports on the destinations of the first cohort and destinations of the second cohort of T Level students can be viewed on the Gatsby website. These insights sit alongside a developing suite of case studies celebrating the success of T Level students, which can be viewed on the Technical Education Networks website. If you would like to discuss this research, or recommend one of your T Level graduates for inclusion in a future case study, please email sarah.herdan@gatsby.org.uk

Anglia Ruskin University -T Levels

Following Anglia Ruskin University’s (ARU) recent announcement that it will begin accepting students with T Level qualifications in Health and Healthcare Science onto its medicine programme from 2026, they have asked us to draw your attention to the below information about the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test):

The UCAT is a key admissions requirement for all UK medical schools and plays a critical role in determining who is invited for an interview. There are a range of free resources available to help candidates prepare—many of which are accessible via the official UCAT website. Eligible candidates are also encouraged to apply for the UCAT bursary, which covers the cost of the test and helps reduce financial barriers to medical school entry.

Anyone aiming to begin medical school in September 2026 must sit the UCAT in the summer of 2025. Testing typically runs from July through September, so it’s important to plan ahead.

T Level students who are interested in applying for medicine at ARU are encouraged to attend one of their upcoming open days to learn more about the course, and to look at the website for information on entry requirements and widening participation criteria.

For further information, please contact Admissions lead Dr Simon Cork (simon.cork@aru.ac.uk)
