May 2025 T Level data collection – for all T Level providers

The T Level data collection is now live and will close on Friday 9 May.

You can access the collection here: T Level data collection

It is important for you to complete this data return accurately and by the closing date, as is a requirement to receive a revenue funding adjustment to reflect T Levels and we will use your data to plan revenue funding.

Watch our instructional video (youtube.com) (opens in new window) to help you complete your return.

If you have decided not to deliver T Levels in the 2026 to 2027 academic year you must tell us via this collection.

If you have an enquiry on how to complete the T Level data collection, please get in touch using the TLDC.ENQUIRIES@education.gov.uk mailbox.

Qualification Reform Survey

This survey will help us understand what you know about Qualifications Reform, the new qualifications available from August 2025 onwards and how we can develop resources to support you further.

You can access the survey here: Survey on Qualification Reform:

The deadline for this is 16 May 2025.

Teacher Consultants – Technical Education Networks (TEN)

The Technical Education Networks are growing – and we are looking for a small group of expert T Level teachers to help with the expansion of the website, www.technicaleducationnetworks.org.uk

Alongside teaching resources developed by TEN’s specialist teacher communities, the new website hub will highlight valuable teaching resources and key information links for T Level teachers across a wider range of subjects. This development work will begin in phases for different subject areas from this summer, offering flexible day rates for contributors.

If you are delivering T Levels and are interested in this curriculum development, please email TEN@gatsby.org.uk for further information.

Further information is available from the Department for Education’s Framework for Delivery and the ‘T Level Foundation Year’ section of the DfE’s ‘T Levels support for schools and colleges’ site.

Support is also available via the Provider Support Programme run by the Association of Colleges and funded by the Department for Education. To contact AoC about support for the T Level Foundation Year programme, please email tlevelsupport@aoc.co.uk

Targeted Employer Support Fund

We have listened to feedback and recognise that certain sectors also face specific upfront costs to delivering industry placements. We are therefore pleased to confirm that we will offer a targeted Employer Support Fund for financial year 2025/26. This fund will contribute to some of the essential costs for all employers hosting Health T Level students, and SMEs providing placements for all T Levels, it is available for placements starting from 23rd April 2025 to 31st March 2026.

The fund is intended to support placements that might not otherwise occur and is available for one year only. Confirmation of any future funding is subject to Spending Review outcomes.  In addition, the Chancellor confirmed on 23rd March a package to support skilled construction workers; this includes funding to support T Level placements in financial year 25-26.

Please note we are unable to publish more details until the second half of the summer term when we will outline how all placement funding will be operated.
