What kind of support is available?

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) offers a range of support to help providers, practitioners and leaders deliver T Levels:

Training Needs Analysis

The ETF can help you assess your individual and organisational readiness to deliver T Levels. It is recommended that providers complete the TNA first as it will produce a bespoke development plan based on your individual needs.

Understanding T Levels

Training specific to T Level routes and roles

A mixture of online courses and face-to-face training designed to help practitioners plan for, teach and assess each individual T Level.

Networking and problem-solving with other T Level practitioners

The ETF brings T Level practitioners together through:

  • Networks - online and face-to-face events designed to explore new ideas and ways of working.
  • T Level Resource Improvement Projects (TRIPs) - action research projects in which T Level colleges and schools identify and try to solve a delivery problem collaboratively.

Understanding employers and getting insights into industry

T Level staff can learn about employers' industries through:

  • Industry Insights Placements– an opportunity to work with an organisation that you have identified where you can observe professionals in their place of work, undertake tasks and engage in day-to-day activities.
  • Group Industry Placements – organised by ETF, virtual or face to face events designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of how T Level subjects are applied in industry by hearing from industry professionals considered leaders in their field.
  • Industry Workshops – “bite size” online events where you can hear sector specific updates or see a demonstration of the latest technology used in a particular industry.

Funding of up to £400 per full day (6 hours) is available to your organisation to provide cover for you to attend Industry Insight or Group Industry Placements.
