As the EV Communities Champion at Octopus Energy, Charlie brings a wealth of hands-on and theoretical experience to the table. With a background in motorsport design engineering, he has been deeply involved in the EV sector, from launching Tesla in the UK to taking four EVs into the Arctic Circle and competing in the first electric vehicle championship in the UK.

 

In this session, Charlie will explore how electric vehicles integrate into everyday life, discussing the short-term benefits of EV ownership and the long-term impact of EVs in creating a greener future through Life Cycle Assessment. He will dive into the key role that batteries play in EV technology, addressing the latest innovations and future trends that are set to reshape the way EVs and transportation function.
