T Levels: Industry Workshop - Education & Early Years - Unlocking Creativity in Early Years: The Power of Process over Product
We invite you to join us for an inspiring online session as we explore “Process over Product” in early years education - a powerful way of nurturing curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
Process over Product shifts the focus from the final outcome to the learning journey itself, encouraging children to explore, experiment, and develop problem solving skills. It’s about teaching children how to think, not what to think - a mindset that lays the foundation for lifelong learning.
We’re thrilled to welcome back Tracy Hilton, a passionate Brand Ambassador for The Curiosity Approach, with 18 years of experience in nursery settings and primary schools. A qualified Montessori Teacher with a BA (Hons) in Early Years, Tracy has held leadership roles such as Deputy Headteacher of a nursery school and Pre-School Manager. Now, she dedicates her time to delivering engaging Discovery Sessions that inspire educators to embrace curiosity-driven learning.
At this session Tracy will be exploring:
- What is meant by Process over Product, including the difference between them
- How it fosters creativity, confidence, collaboration, connection and self-expression in children
- The benefits for educators, including observational learning and real-time assessment
- Examples of what Process looks like in early years settings
- How to start making the move towards focusing on Process
- The difference between art and craft
There will also be the opportunity to bring your questions to Tracy in our Q&A session.
