Join Francesca Gale and Karen Stephens from Wellcome Sanger, a world leader in genomics research, as they present aspects of their Human Cell Atlas Programme.
Francesca Gale is Head of Science Engagement and Enrichment for Wellcome Connecting Science, part of the Wellcome Sanger Institute. She leads on the strategic delivery of the Science Engagement programme that engages underrepresented communities with genomics and life sciences through a range of different initiatives.
Karen Stephens is a Science Engagement Manager for Schools in Wellcome Connecting Science, part of the Wellcome Sanger Institute. With a PhD in Molecular Genetics, PGCE and over 15 years’ experience of teaching and running professional development courses for science teachers, she enjoys engaging a range of audiences with bioscience and genomics.
