HTE Skills Injection Fund 2

We are delivering reforms to increase the profile, prestige and uptake of higher technical education. Central to our reforms is the introduction of Higher Technical Qualifications, so we are delighted to announce the launch of The HTE Skills Injection Fund 2. This will provide up to £48m of funding to support providers in delivering Higher Technical Qualifications in:

  • Health & Science 
  • Business & Admin  
  • Education & Early Years
  • Engineering & Manufacturing  
  • Legal, Finance & Accounting   

Delivery Sept 25 & Jan 26

  • Agriculture, Environmental & Animal care  
  • Creative & Design  
  • Care services,  
  • Sales, marketing & procurement  
  • Protective services  

The purpose of the fund is to help providers invest in industry-standard equipment and develop the business links they need to offer first-rate training that will meet the growing employer demand for skills in these sectors.  

HTQs are a particularly suitable progression option for T Level graduates who can continue to develop knowledge and skills in the same technical route to further enhance their career prospects.
